"This drawing was about stopping to turn and reflect on a journey and the street I'd been walking through. A garden behind a high garden wall and sleeping houses seem like peaceful places to me, but still fascinating, each one with different narratives and objects hidden from view. I wanted to think about being up a hill, but with the city centre out of sight behind the trees and buildings."
