Since 1993 Katsunori Watanabe has been founder, CEO and Art Director of Bauhaus Inc., a graphic design and advertising office in Nagoya Japan. In 2006 he also opened his own private studio, Katsunori Watanabe Design Institute Inc.

Katsunori currently teaches at the Nagoya University of Arts and Science and Trident School of Design, and is a member of the Japan Graphic Designer Association, Japan Typography Association, New York’s Art Directors Club (ADC) and Type Directors Club (TDC).

His works have been displayed in various exhibitions, and he has been awarded numerous prizes from American, Japanese, Polish, Finnish and German arts associations and festivals, which include:
